An elephant, giant crystals, dinosaur bones, and a spacecraft. A museum day can cover a lot of ground without anyone leaving the building for long.
I enjoy outings that give us new things to look at together. There is always another room, another display, and something that makes one of us stop for a closer look.
These Washington photos catch a little of that curiosity. I like having the family pictures mixed in with the exhibits, because that is how I remember the day: the things we saw and the people I saw them with.
There is plenty of room for days like this on our travel calendar. I am happy we made time for this one.
